June 18, 2020 Creating an affinity for the world around us.

This is my promise, my personal mission, everything I believe in and do. What will I do to capture this?

For the next few months, I will showcase other photographers and designers of color. Amplify their story and lifestyles.

Take a diversity and inclusion course to help my own biasses and retrain myself.

Incorporate more black businesses into my regular shopping routine.

Call out businesses that lack diversity and inclusion on their board, their leadership team, and explain why bias training in every organization is critical.

Explain the importance of what defund the police means and explain why moving funds into education and other community services is so much more important.

Begin incorporating better design and photography ethics into my everyday practice.

Continue to be a better person.

This is a long process, and I won't get it all right. But this is important, and the time to act is now.
