For ten plus years, I have been at Dorman Products, a billion-dollar brand in the automotive engineering design industry.
Developing our organization's employee value proposition and working on creating our employer brand. With that setting up communication design systems and propped up a better employee, customer, and talent acquisition experience for all our sites nationwide and internationally.
Led a cross-functional team with brand coms, design, and photography in creating an optimized process to ensure better storytelling through photography.
Working with our Vice President of Diversity Equity and Inclusion and designing an internal communication plan to facilitate equitable change and education within our two-thousand-plus organization.
Lastly, I just came off heading up a team to develop a branding plan for all mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, I've been working to create the branding philosophy for Dorman's creative team. Organizing brand architecture and plotting the course for Dorman's brand positioning over the next five years.
I'm also currently the vice president of AIGA Philly (American Institute of Graphic Artists), currently in a rebuilding mode coming off of covid, we're focused on engaging events, building relationships within the Philly design community and propping up our committees with a dedicated team of volunteers. I joined AIGA Philly in 2018 as the Board Resources Director and then moved into the Program Director position, where I focused on meaningful and equitable programming events.
When I'm not at work, you can find me backpacking through the mountains or taste-testing the best new cocktail in town. No matter where the adventures take me, I always have my camera to capture the world from my point of view.
I'm originally from a small town about an hour west of the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania. Growing up on my family's Christmas tree farm fostered an understanding of an empathetic approach to customer interactions. The good old-fashioned hard work combined with the opportunity to be a part of so many families holiday traditions was so rewarding.
I attended Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, graduating in 2009 with a BFA in Communications. I have several certificates in branding, in-house management, and UX/ UI design.
Living in Philly for eight-plus years, my wife and I recently bought a house in Ardmore outside of Philly with our dog August. We're expecting our first little girl this summer.
My Mission
Through brand experience, visual communication, and photography, I show the world that compassionate human interactions with business, products, or each other creates stronger bonds.
What's my focus?
My Vision
A world where our participation with the tangible and intangible should both be worthwhile. It should be what we want it to be. Our choosing. It should be practical and beautiful.
